Cardiac Rehabilitation

We believe education is vital to good health. Therefore, we offer on-going heart disease risk factor education, congestive heart failure education, and Diabetes education.

Cardiac Rehabilitation is a program offered by Lexington Regional Health Center to help people recover from a heart attack, stent placement, bypass surgery, or valve repair or replacement.

The program is two-fold; it is a monitored exercise program tailored to each participant's condition and ability, as well as an educational program based on that patient's needs. The goal of our cardiac rehab staff is to improve health and fitness, help the participant return to his/her activities, and work to reduce the risk of future heart problems.

The cardiac rehabilitation department can be reached at (308) 324-8315.
