Lacey Zarek, RD, LMNT

Lacey started working at Lexington Regional Health Center in 2015. She has been a Registered Dietitian for over 4 years. She is involved in the care of patients in the Cardiac Rehab program by providing a variety of educational opportunities that provide nutrition therapy for heart disease, diabetes, obesity and other nutritional concerns. Lacey is involved in community events, health fairs, employee and community wellness. She also provides nutrition education in schools. Lacey is a lifestyle coach for the National Diabetes Prevention Program. She teaches a Walk this Weigh class at LRHC for people who are at risk for developing Type 2 Diabetes.
“I really enjoy helping individuals to improve their health outcomes as they learn to manage their diabetes. Education is crucial and our program is structured to each individual, and helps to empower them to take control of their chronic disease.”
