Lexington Regional Health Center offers advanced urological care through the expertise of board-certified urologist, Dr. Stacy Childs. Dr. Childs evaluates and treats a wide range of urologic issues. Working with a team of providers and nurses, our urologist is able to find a plan that fits your individual needs, while maintaining the dignity, respect and compassion you deserve.

Procedures and Options
Our urology team provides treatment options that are focused and centered around the patient’s well-being. Procedures include, but are not limited to:

  • Cystoscopy (with or without retrograde X-rays)
  • Vasectomy
  • Outpatient prostate surgery transurethral (with or without laser)
  • Prostate urolift and REZUM procedures
  • Testicular procedures
  • Urethral dilatation
  • Transurethral cauterization of bladder trigone
  • Ureteral or bladder stone manipulation and removal (with or without laser)
  • Extracorporeal shock wave on kidney and ureteral stones
  • Urethral bulking procedures and mid urethral slings for urinary incontinence
  • Supra pubic catheters
  • Spinal stimulator placement for bladder control
  • Bladder sling procedures
