Lexington Regional Health Center to Open Rural Health Clinic in Elm Creek

Elm Creek Clinic

PRESS RELEASE

Lexington Regional Health Center (LRHC) is pleased to announce plans to bring healthcare back to Elm Creek, Nebraska, expanding access to primary care services for the Elm Creek community and surrounding areas. This will be LRHC’s third satellite clinic, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to meeting patients where they are. This project was made possible through the support and partnership of the Village of Elm Creek, whose commitment to the community helped bring this vision to life.

The Elm Creek clinic will be primarily staffed by Leigh-Anne Lehmann, PA-C, who brings a strong background in primary care and a patient-centered approach to serving rural communities. Originally from Eustis, Nebraska, Leigh-Anne has a deep understanding of the unique needs and values of rural patients.

“We are excited to bring a clinic back to Elm Creek and expand local access to care,” said Jason Douglas, CEO. “This outreach reflects our ongoing commitment to strengthening rural healthcare and supporting the communities we serve.”

The clinic is targeting a mid-July opening, pending completion of regulatory, operational, and facility preparations that are required when opening a new rural health clinic. Additional details, including services offered, sports physicals and opening day information, will be shared as they are finalized.

“Rural healthcare is the reason I got involved in medicine — it’s about knowing your patients, their families, and what matters most to them. Bringing care back to Elm Creek feels full-circle, and I’m excited to meet people where they are and make it easier for families to get the care they need, close to home.” said Leigh-Anne Lehmann, PA-C.

Lexington Regional Health Center looks forward to becoming part of the Elm Creek community and continuing its mission of providing compassionate, quality care close to home.
