Lexington Regional Health Center Announces New CEO

LEXINGTON – Lexington Regional Health Center’s (LRHC’s) Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Jason Douglas as the organization’s new Chief Executive Officer.
Douglas, a native of Nebraska, brings a wealth of experience and a proven history of leadership in the healthcare industry. He has over 25 years of senior healthcare executive experience, with over 20 of those being as a CEO. His appointment follows a comprehensive search process led by the CEO search committee and formal approval by the board at their January 28, 2025, board meeting.

With an impressive track record and extensive experience in healthcare leadership, we are confident that Jason will bring innovative vision, strategic insight, and unwavering dedication to our mission of providing exceptional patient care,” said Rob Anderson, LRHC’s board chairperson. “We look forward to the positive impact Jason will undoubtedly make in guiding Lexington Regional Health Center.”
Douglas expressed his enthusiasm about joining Lexington Regional Health Center, stating, “I am honored to join the exceptional team at LRHC, and I look forward to working alongside the dedicated healthcare professionals who have built such a strong foundation of service to the Lexington community. My commitment is to build upon this legacy while ensuring that residents continue to receive outstanding, compassionate care close to home. My wife, Jen, and I are excited to become part of this vibrant community and to help advance LRHC’s mission of providing excellent healthcare services to Lexington and the surrounding region.”
Douglas is slated to begin his tenure with LRHC on March 1, 2025.
Anderson expressed his thanks to Chief Financial Officer Wade Eschenbrenner, who has served as Interim CEO since late February 2024. “Wade has been a huge asset for the board during this transition. His calm leadership style has helped us move forward with continuity.”
