2026 Daisy & Tulip Awards

DAISY Award

Lexington Regional Health Center (LRHC) proudly recognized exceptional members of its care team during a DAISY and TULIP Award ceremony held on March 17, 2026. The event celebrated the compassion, dedication, and extraordinary care provided by LRHC staff every day.
During the ceremony, two DAISY Awards were presented to Deanne Guthard and Kaylea Foster, and one TULIP Award was awarded to Alisha Seward. In addition, Cheri Bowers and Cassie Murray were also nominated and recognized for their outstanding commitment to compassionate patient care.
The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses is an international recognition program that honors nurses who go above and beyond in providing compassionate, patient-centered care. DAISY Award recipients are nominated by patients, families, and colleagues who wish to recognize a nurse for the meaningful difference they have made in someone’s life.
The TULIP Award, which stands for Touching Unique Lives in Practice, recognizes non-nursing team members who demonstrate outstanding compassion, kindness, and commitment while supporting patients and families. This award highlights the vital role that support staff play in the overall patient experience and in delivering exceptional care.
“At LRHC, we are so proud of all of our staff and the incredible work they do for our patients and community,” said Chief Executive Officer, Jason Douglas. “The DAISY and TULIP Awards give us a meaningful way to pause, celebrate, and say thank you to those who consistently go above and beyond.”
Lexington Regional Health Center extends sincere congratulations to Deanne, Kaylea, and Alisha, and thanks all team members who continue to live out LRHC’s mission through compassionate care, teamwork, and service to the community.
