Abby Potts and Vanessa Lo Voted November 2026 Employees of the Month

November 2026 Employees of the Month

Nominating Statement
"Abby and Vanessa have both made a tremendous impact on LRHC and have quickly become valuable members of the Pharmacy department. Whenever help is needed, Abby and Vanessa are quick to jump in. Their enthusiasm is contagious, and their willingness to collaborate has made a meaningful difference in several infection prevention and antimicrobial stewardship initiatives. As newer pharmacists, they bring fresh knowledge, a desire to learn, and a genuine commitment to doing what's best for our patients. One of the things that stands out most is the way they connect with patients. Working in multiple departments, I often hear positive comments from both staff and patients about Abby and Vanessa and how kind, approachable, and helpful they are. I've also had the opportunity to observe them educating patients, often when they don't even realize someone is watching. They take the time to listen, answer questions, and explain medications in a way patients can understand. I've been impressed by their patience, compassion, and the genuine care they show during those interactions. They make patients feel comfortable, informed, and supported. In addition, they have readily stepped in to help support employee flu vaccine efforts, demonstrating their commitment to both patient care and employee wellness. Their contributions have already had a positive impact on patient care and quality improvement efforts. What I appreciate most about Abby and Vanessa is how genuine they are. They bring positive energy to their work, are always willing to learn, and truly care about the people around them. In a short time, they have made a lasting impact, and I believe they are both very deserving of Employee of the Month recognition."
