Lexington Regional Health Center’s Wound Care Team Achieves Full WCC Credentialing and Expands Specialized Expertise
Lexington, NE — The Outpatient Wound Care Clinic at Lexington Regional Health Center (LRHC) is proud to announce that its multidisciplinary team has achieved full Wound Care Certified (WCC) credentialing, reflecting LRHC’s ongoing commitment to progressive, evidence-based, and comprehensive wound and skin care.
This milestone highlights a fully credentialed wound care team that includes Tara Lawless, APRN, FNP-C, WCC; Vanji Vosler, BSN, RN, WCC; Lisa Kinnan, RN, WCC; and Brooke Wolfe, PTA, WCC. Together, these clinicians provide advanced wound management for surgical wounds, diabetic ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, pressure injuries, and other complex wounds through individualized, patient-centered treatment plans.
Supporting the wound care program, Shannon Hueftle, PTA, CCS, CLT; Kandace Davis, PT, CLT; and Leeann Smith, PTA, WTA, contribute specialized expertise in compression therapy, lymphedema management, and wound treatment coordination. Their collaboration between the Wound Care and Physical Therapy departments allows patients to receive integrated services such as manual lymphatic drainage, compression garment fitting, and wound dressing changes, improving efficiency, access, and continuity of care.
The LRHC Wound Care Clinic is recognized for its progressive approach, emphasizing continuous professional education and training to stay current with the latest wound management technologies, biologic products, and advanced modalities. The clinic also provides dermatology services, including in-office biopsies, lesion evaluation, and treatment of skin conditions that may impact wound healing.
