Get to Know Tracy Shafer
Tracy has worked at LRHC since July 2012 and is currently the Lead Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT). Tracy has a bachelor's degree in Compound Molecular Biology with an emphasis in Chemistry, an associate's degree as a Medical Laboratory Technician, and is ASCP certified. Tracy has raised four adult children, one of her own and three of her significant other. Her son is in the National Guard; she is very proud of him for his commitment. Tracy loves swimming, camping, gardening, and taking care of her animals (chickens, ducks, goats, dogs, a cat and a rabbit); basically, anything outside. Tracy is grateful for her family and the support they provide to help get her where she is today. “The best part of working at LRHC getting to know everyone you work with. We make it a great atmosphere for everyone to work together and communicate as one for the betterment of our patients.”
