Get to Know Vanessa Strong
Vanessa has worked at LRHC since April 2022 and is currently the Financial Counselor Manager. Vanessa received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with a specialization in finance analysis, marketing and business administration. She also has a Provisional License in Alcohol and Drug counseling.

Vanessa and her husband, Jerod, got married in December 2022 in the mountains. They welcomed their first child, a daughter, Sophie, in October 2025. They also have a dog, Marley, and a cat, KitKat. Vanessa and her husband play on volleyball leagues and basketball leagues throughout the year. They are huge snowboarders. Archery, hunting and hiking mountains is their lifestyle. Vanessa’s favorite holiday is the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. She is currently training for an Elk Challenge Marathon in Colorado this year and dancing heals her soul. Vanessa is grateful for slow Saturday mornings. “The best part of working at LRHC is that, after years of different work, this is the first role that I feel mirrors my values. Helping vulnerable people is a privilege, and I’m so grateful that I get to use my creativity to transform overwhelming systems into something understandable.”
