We are thrilled to welcome three outstanding leaders into their new roles at Lexington Regional Health Center (LRHC). Their expertise and dedication will undoubtedly enhance our team’s capabilities and help us achieve new heights in providing exceptional healthcare services.


Megan Uphoff, DNP, RN, CENP
Starting November 3rd, Megan joins LRHC as the Chief Operating Officer / Chief Nursing Officer. With over 15 years of experience in acute care, Megan brings deep expertise in ICU, PCU, and pediatric care, along with strategic leadership in hospital operations and pandemic response.


Dana Steiner, MSN, MBA, CPHQ
Returning to LRHC on October 27th as the Chief Population Health & Quality Officer (CPHQO), Dana will lead the transition to value-based care models. Her background in nursing and business administration, combined with her previous tenure at LRHC, positions her to drive quality improvement and operational performance.


Nicole Thorell, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Nicole began her role as Interim Chief Operating Officer on September 10th. With 17 years of service at LRHC, including roles as Chief Nursing Officer and Director of Risk and Quality, Nicole’s leadership is instrumental in guiding our operational improvements and ensuring readiness for the upcoming DNV reaccreditation survey.
