Lexington Regional Health Center will be having another COVID-19 vaccination clinic for all children ages 5 to 11 years old on Sunday, November 28th from 3:00-4:00pm. Pfizer was recently granted Emergency Use Authorization of their pediatric dosage COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5 to 11 years old. The dosage for this age group is 10 mcg versus a 30 mcg dosage for ages 12 and older, including adults. This dose is 1/3 of the dose authorized under Emergency Use for

Lexington Regional Health Center’s first baby of 2021 waas Zakir Ahmed Hussein. He was born 1/1/2021 at 12:25am to parents Fatuma Salal and Ahmed Issack. Zakir was welcomed home by two older siblings. Dr. Kyle Klammer was the delivering doctor. 

Lexington Regional Health Center received 200 doses of the COVID-19 Moderna vaccine on the week of 12/21/2020. We are following the State of Nebraska and Two Rivers Public Health Departments Plan outlining their recommendations as to who should receive the vaccine in Phase 1A of vaccine distribution.
